We have supplied barn dried, naturally seasoned hard wood logs for over 30 years. This is a natural end product created by the cycle of best practice in forestry management.

Logs are available to order in loose 2cum loads within approximately 8 miles of Waldron, East Sussex. They will consist of mixed hardwoods (no chestnut or softwood) generally cut/split to 8-10 inches. Other lengths can be cut to order.

It is important that you make sure any wood you burn has a moisture content of 20% or less. Therefore, please make sure you continue to store the wood in a covered, well-aired space away from the rain, ideally testing the wood before burning to make sure it still has a moisture content of 20% or less.  This can be by visual inspection or by use of a moisture meter.
